1 Goya - Bitter Melon (250g / 8.82 oz)
1 tsp Salt for Removing Bitterness from Goya

150g Onion (5.29 oz)
100g Slice Pork - upper shoulder part of pork (3.53 oz)

- Seasonings for Slice Pork -
1/2 tsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Sake

2 Eggs
A Pinch of Salt

Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up each morning during the work week and not have to deal with making breakfast? This weeks recipe is just that! A quick to make, ahead of time, breakfast that will keep you filled up until lunchtime. And to add to this, its also very healthy. It only takes about 30 minutes to make and then you put them in a Tupperware container and they are ready to be consumed throughout your busy work week! By the way, I first discovered this recipe from the South Beach diet. I modified it to my liking. Feel free to add any other vegetables that you like; mushrooms or spinach come to mind.

How to make Lentil Walnut Veggie Burgers Video. Veggie Burgers are a nutritional alternative to beef burgers. Many people don’t think of making their own veggie burgers but they are really easy to make at home. Store bought veggie burgers are nutritional but often very high in sodium and preservatives.
Lentils are high in fiber which makes them a good protector against bowel cancer. They are an excellent source of protein and are an important source of B vitamins, especially B3, which is essential for both a healthy nervous system and digestive system. They are high in iron, zinc and calcium and are a good replacement for red meat. Like meat, the iron in lentils is better absorbed when they are eaten with a good source of vitamin C like leafy green vegetables.
Walnuts are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, a special type of fat that is essential for our bodies, but that the body cannot produce. Walnuts are also a very good source of monounsaturated fats.
Walnuts contain many powerful antioxidants, including ellagic and gallic acids, pus antioxidant phenols and vitamin E. The minerals copper and manganese are also found in abundance in these tasty nuts.

Pasta with Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:
200 grams short pasta
Four/Five ripe tomatoes
Six cloves of peeled garlic
Five leaves of Basil
Salt to taste
One tablespoon Olive Oil
Pecorino Cheese

Instructions:
Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water
For the sauce, put the cloves of garlic in the mortar -wooden preferably- add salt, and mash it up. Add basil and mash some more. Add tomatoes in two, three batches. Mix together and add olive oil. Pour sauce on cooked pasta and sprinkle with Pecorino cheese.
