Looking for that perfect steak for your next BBQ? The Grill Masters at all http://www.BarbecueWeb.com have some “tips and tricks” to help you easily serve up the “best steak anywhere” bar none, the Rib Eye steak. Why the Rib Eye? The Rib Eye steak, or ribeye, also known as the Delmonico or Scotch Fillet (Australia), is a beef steak from the small end of the rib roast. When the Rib Eye section of the beef is cut into steaks, it is one of the most popular, tender and juiciest steaks available. This is because the meat from the rib section is tender and fattier or “marbled” more than most other parts of the steer. This extra fat makes Rib Eye steaks and roasts especially tender and flavorful. The Rib Eye steak is usually served bone-in, particularly at high quality steakhouses -the extra moisture and fat alongside the bone enhances the flavor. So get yourself some 1 to 11/2 lb and 11/2″-2″ thick Rib Eye steaks –and then go “fire up” that BBQ grill of yours -it’s time for some real S T E A K On The Barbecue. And be sure to check out more easy and delicious recipes from the Barbecue Web on Google Video, or of course at www.BarbecueWeb.com

I am with you 100 percent, MickR55. And I’ll also add that those who prefer well done steak NEED that barbeque sauce to mask the dryness of the beautiful piece of meat they ruined. Also, DO NOT apply pressure to your meat while cooking! This only squeezes out all that succulent juice.

Man those look …
Man those look delicious. I notice that after you handle the raw meat with your fingers, you use them to sprinkle seasoning (do you put the seasoning away for later use after you touched the raw meat) then after the meat is done, you took the cooked steak and placed it on the same cutting board that had the raw meat on it. Not to be a wuss or anything, but don’t you worry about cross contamination? All questions asides, looks delicious!

Oh, Oh….Aunt Flo’s back again. Now what do you think, Flo? Nothing better to do today than preach? Most viewers know proper food handling techniques, so the full bubble bath i took between video shots and the board washing ended up on the cutting room floor! Awesome Steak!

you really shouldn’t use a turning fork like that, piercing the meat gives a channel for the juice to travel through and thus out of the steak, best utensil to use is stainless steel surgical tongs.

A long “Steak Fork” as seen in this vid is often used by the grillmaster pros, but if not used correctly you can lose some of that steak juice! Thanks for pointing that out, and welcome to the Barbecue Web!
